My default shell is tcsh. Until today, Apple's X11 was working

tcsh: if: Expression Syntax.
None of my aliases are working. Terminal.app works OK. I have checked
my .xinitrc and .cshrc files, and I can't figure out what's going on.
It worked yesterday, and I haven't made any changes to the system since
yesterday.
You updated your Fink xfontpath package, right? The latest version has a
bug that causes this. Until this gets fixed, you can either
- downgrade xfontpath to the previous version:
fink install xfontpath-0.4-12
- or fix the bug yourself by editing (as root) the file
/sw/etc/profile.d/xfontpath.csh. Change a "=" sign (the only one that
is in this file) to "==".
