Using Apple's X11 (intel) I connect to a linux box at work. When
using gcc4 error messages are generated like:
../src/time_tools.h:44: error: syntax error before `time_t´
However in the xterm they are displayed like:
../src/time_tools.h:44: error: syntax error before â
It appears the ` and ´ are special encodings and are being rendered
as â.
Additionally, some characters in man pages, such as the copyright
symbol, are not rendered correctly.
Any ideas on how to get these special characters to show up properly?
Thanks,
Brad
