X11 and Tektronics problem

| Hello X11 users - When I run the Tektronics window (xterm -t) on a G5 running 10.4.4 and X11 1.1, I get some strange binary-looking zeros or boxes for my text input. I can run programs in it (being careful not to mess up my typing) and graphics output just fine. I do not have this problem at home on my machine running X11 version 1.0. Any savvy vets out there willing to help? Thanks so much. Sam
