- Thread-topic: how can I change the color of the X11 windows?
Hello,
In .xinictl or do you mean .xinitrc?
You change it by starting xterm with the parameters? Why don't you use
.Xdefaults? I think it is more comfortable cause you change the behaviour of
every xterm. In this case the loadibg does only be milliseconds longer (due
to the fact that one file more has to be read if no .Xdefaults exist before.
If it exists nothing should change.
If you write _how_ how try to change it and not only _where_ it can be very
useful to find the reason.
Best regards,
Volker
