I stand corrected. I just tried it on an iMac Intel. Here's what I
did:
1) Installed Fink.
2) Installed Fink Commander
3) Used Fink Commander to install xfig (an X11 vector drawing program)
4) Started X11.app with 'start with Rosetta' switched on
5) From the xterm that popped up, I ran /sw/bin/xfig (the xfig I just
installed with Fink)
It ran fine.
Just to make sure I wasn't losing it, I ran 'file' on /sw/bin/xfig,
and it sez it's a 'Mach-O executable PPC'. I did an 'otool -L' on /
sw/bin/xfig, and it's dynamically linked against a lot of stuff.
Shows how much I know.

I don't see how that would help. I haven't tried it, so I guess
I'm not 100% believable, but since your ppc x11 binaries are
probably dynamically linked, they will try to load the built-for-
intel libraries that are on the system. It will fail at that point.

Someone mentioned a possible way of running ppc x11 binaries
on a Macintel box. The idea was to launch X11.app in Rosetta and
then run the ppc x11 binaries from xterm that way. Has anyone
tried this approach?
