You guys are my heroes! I can't believe I've been living with this
problem for a year and a half thinking it was a bug. <grrr> Adding
the -Y seems to eliminate the crashes (I've only tried it for a minute
or so, but I used to get the crashes almost instantly). Adding the
section Bill mentioned to /etc/ssh_config seems to eliminate the
errors, even when I don't use -Y!!
Thanks a ton. I finally have X connections to my servers again.
