Hi all,
I'm one of the few Oracle developers out there that
uses a Mac. Essentially with Java, I can pretty much
do everything I need to, however there are some older
products that I need to use server versions; namely
Oracle Forms & Reports builder. As a client, these
development tools are only available on Windoze or on
the server platform as X applications.
The problem I have is that they don't work with
quartz-wm; the default window manager of the Mac X11
client! I've had to compile and run another window
manager like fvwm, but to be honest, it looks rubbish!
Has anyone else had issues with running certain X
applications using quartz? Can it be configured
differently? As there later versions of it available
as open source?
Antony.
