What I did was to delete everything manually as described in :
http://forums.macosxhints.com/archive/index.php/t-11736.html
But you must be very careful, what you delete as you will not be able
to recover it.
After deleting I still received the message of "newer version
installed on your system". This is why you have also to remove
/Library/Receipts/X11User.pkg
Then simply do a fresh install with X11User.pkg fro PPC.
This worked fine with me, but there is no guarantee that it will not
mess up things on your system. So maybe you should wait for advice
from an expert.

Tarik

Hi all, I accidently installed a version of X11user.pkg from an
intel mac
mini onto an older ppc based eMac, the result being that it crashed
every
time I tried to run it.
After getting the correct version I tried to install it only to be
told
that there was already a newer version.
So, how do I uninstall the incorrect version that I installed so I can
replace it with one that works?
Cheers
