For some reason, I have *never* been able to get cut-and-paste
working *even if* I ran quartz-wm --proxy-only. I ended up just
running quartz-wm instead of another window manager.

But then I am still on Tiger, so my comment is irrelevant to this
discussion... (but if someone could tell me what might be wrong
with my system that'd be appreciated)
