a new X11 "raise window" bug?

  • Subject: a new X11 "raise window" bug?

I just downloaded and installed Xquartz-1.2a5.bz2. Although this new release has finally cured the "window does not come to top on activation of X11" bug (at least for me!), there's another related bug that still persists. Namely, if a "regular" Leopard window is in front of an X11 window, partly covering the latter, and you click on the X11 window, the Leopard window looses focus but the X11 window is not raised, i.e., it still remains covered by the other window until you click on the X11 icon in the Dock. Has anybody else noticed this, or is it a problem of my own?

Thanks a lot everybody in the list (particularly, of course, Ben Byer) for the excellent work at making the new X11 usable!

Cheers,

Artemio Gonzalez Lopez
