I've just found this in the Wine 0.9.49 changelog:

 wined3d: Implement a detection for the MacOS OpenGL implementation.
 wined3d: Fix for MacOS'es incomplete glsl uniform truth.

Hopefully this might help things. I'm building it now and will see what happens.
