I had this happen when I first installed X11. I suspected a problem
with the USB Overdrive driver and sure enough, upgrading that to the
latest release fixed the problem.

launched in leopard, and I click on its window, the window loses focus
after about a second. This is extremely frustrating while you are
trying to type in the terminal. When you click on the window again,
focus is restored, but lost again after about a second. However,
clicking on the X11 icon in the dock restores focus to the front-most
X11 window which is not then lost unless you click on the window
again.
This means that with more than one X11 window open, to change the
active window, you must click on the window - and then on the X11 icon
in the dock in order to stop focus from being lost.
Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a workaround?
