I am unable to edit my .bash_profile file because nedit no longer
displays the characters I type in. It puts junk or nothing in there. And
I can't edit a . file with textedit because it will not let you open a
dot file.
Nedit did work before I applied all the updates on Xdarwin, so this is a
bad regression.
