I removed my .xinitrc, and X11 starts again.
But my .xinitrc or an empty one breaks it again.

Here is my .xinitrc:
export LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
xrdb ~/.Xdefaults
exec xterm -geometry 80x24 -sb -rightbar -si -sl 10000 -j -T joshua.hin.de -e slogin -Y joshua.hin.de &
