Next Question:
I can only compare it to what I might do on another
UNIX.
If :0 is attached to the physical display. I could
launch a new vncserver on :1. This display would be
independent of the display on :0.
I read a post somewhere and now can't seemed to find
it, that stated this was possible on OSX.
It involved two user accounts and "fast user
switching". I setup another user account can enabled
"fast user switching" However when I remote in, it is
still a shared session of the :0 display. I would like
to connect to a session that is different than the one
running on the physical display.
This works indeed. You have to make sure that both users are logged in
via fast user switching and start their own Vine Server with different
display numbers. You can then connect to both screens independently on
ports 5900 and 5901.
AFAIK this does not work with Leopard's screen sharing. It always shows
the screen of the currently active user.
