Xcode DISPLAY bug closed

  • Subject: Xcode DISPLAY bug closed
  • From: "Nathaniel Gray" <email@hidden>

Hi folks,

I thought you might want to know that the bug I filed on Xcode
clobbering DISPLAY (Radar 5608415) was closed as "Behaves correctly".
>From the comments I got (under "non-disclosure") it seems likely that
the reviewer did not understand that Xcode was actively setting this
variable to an incorrect value. I've added a clarification to the bug
report, but I have no idea if anybody will see it now that the bug is
closed. So anyhow, I'm posting this here to a) hopefully attract the
attention of certain X developers at Apple who understand the problem
;^) and b) encourage others to file reports on this bug, since mine
has sunk.

Cheers,
-n8
