X11 after crash loses title bar

After a X11 crash the X11 windows, e.g. xterm, does not show the title bar and they don't also appear in the Window drop down menu of X11. Only a computer restart fixes the problem.
I'm using 2.2.0 rc2. This didn't happen with 2.1.4.
