No, nothing special in use.
I have been seeing normal Mac non-X11 application windows get messed
up for about 6 months. It appears the windowing system looses its
idea of where the window is on my desktop and I can't drag the
windows around or close them from the upper left corner. Closing the
application effected with command-Q seems to fix the problem. If
it's the finder I do a force quit/restart on it.
This is the first time I've seen the caps lock problem.
This has persisted since Tiger.

Do you use QuickSilver? 2 days ago, someone reported this and
mentioned that it seems to be tied to QuickSilver.

I've been using 2.14 for a while. I've upgraded to 10.5.2 when it
came out and reinstalled 2.14. I guess that's a week or 2.
Today for the first time on of my X11 applications, SlickEdit,
everything I typed started showing caps for everything I typed. I
hit the caps lock key and the caps lock LED came on. The
application started to take lower case again. The same thing
happened with the shift key. The xterm application still handled
characters correctly. I shut down X11 and restarted it and
SlickEdit. Everything went back to normal.
Has anyone seen this behavior? If the problem reappears is there
anything I can do to debug it.
