Okay, is there any reason why I shouldn't just copy these two files into
the /etc/X11/xinit directory? I just did that, and inserted the two lines
specifying font into .Xresources, but haven't been able to access .Xmodmap.
Here's the result of entering on the command line (1st line)
./xmodmap -e "keysym BackSpace = Delete"
./xmodmap: unable to open display ''
Not being versed in X11, I guess I need more specify instructions on how
to get past this point.
