Hi,
rc3 is great so far except for these two problems:
Start teminal.app, open three windows
in the front most do xterm &
type some text
click on the frontmost terminal.app window
type some text, enable caps lock, type some text
click on the xterm type some text, won't be in caps
Thanks, I'm aware of this, but it's not an obvious fix and is not a
regression over 2.1.4, so it's not blocking 2.2.0.
,,,
The other problem with respect to rc3 is that with the same config
as before, cmd-tab from terminal.app to X11 and the xterm window
does not come forward. I seem to remember this working in 2.2.0_rc1
or 2.1.4.
Yeah... this is related to the F9-exposé fix. This is a regression,
and I'm going to spend some time looking into it. It should be a
quick fix... Message <insert what I need to learn here> from the dock
goes to X11.app's Carbon thread, we process it and send a
kXquartzBringAllToFront XEvent to the X11 server thread... I just need
to figure out what message is sent. If anyone knows, just let me
know, otherwise it's probably just a quick look through some header
files.
Thanks for all the hard work, the new expose stuff you added seems
to work fine.
Thanks for the feedback.
