I don't remember this happening in Tiger (now running Leopard): when I
launch X11, I get the "xterm" window with the prompt, "bash-3.2$"
which I assume is hoping for me to type something in. I'm a newbie at
this, and mostly use X11 to run certain apps. Any insights?
I posted an earlier question about the GIMP. I have been using
GIMPshop.app and read in the May issue of Mac|Life that GIMPshop
doesn't work with Leopard. So part of my question is answered.
I think I'm still having trouble with the GIMP, however. Yesterday it
wouldn't quit. Huh.
I'll keep lurking in this list until I understand what's going on!
