heard was, "let's focus on the native 3.0".
It's *TRIVIAL* to fix... and it's obviously an issue for users because
it's flooding over into the x11-users list... This should really not
need to take 4 months to fix. Additionally, even though a native 3.0
will be great, some people will probably still want to use the X11
version.
If it's not declared a showstopper, then it really should be. Not
being able to start the app as directed is a show stopper, IMO.
Executing soffice directly from a terminal is a great workaround, but
not for "mom and dad"
I will ask one of the dev who co-wrote the script, where the
sources are placed and which modules you need to check out.
