I've been using 1.4 exclusively for a few weeks now and haven't seen
this, so there's something critical about your work flow that is
triggering it that I don't do... can you try to narrow down exactly
what you need to do to trigger this bug?

So I got the problem to reoccur. However it's different this time.
With xev running, the mouse input works correctly. The keyboard
does not after switching spaces a few times. While typing inside of
xev, the mouse input registers, but the keyboard commands do not
display.
I am using a MS keyboard... and am using their driver.... this could
be the issue. But it works as I type this email right now.

Interestingly enough I haven't seen the issue since the reboot
after installing 1.4.0-apple4 x server. I've got xev running and
will copy the data to this list if it crashes.

Hm.
Try opening up 'xev' inside an xterm, and then reproducing the
problem
-- when it's locked up, do you get any output from xev when you
movethe mouse over the xev window (or click or type, etc)?
