Well, I've started using it and no white rectangles yet. Great!
Will let you know if any occur.
One outstanding issue, transiently mentioned in another email of mine,
is that if "full screen" mode is selected then the first X11 app appears
on the apple desktop. Once you switch to the X11 app full screen mode
activates and it's all good from then on.
Procedure:
- in preferences, choose full screen mode
- quit X11
- start an X11 app, it should appear on the apple desktop
- command-tab to X11, full screen mode should activate
