After installing 1.3.0-apple10, x11 no longer seems to run...opening it from
the finder/dock does nothing, and running "xterm" from terminal just
hangs...then I restarted, problem still present, then I redownloaded and
reuncompressed and reinstalled, problem still present.
...reinstalling 2.1.3 fixes the problem (even without the manditory
restarting...the hanging 'xterm' run from terminal executed as soon as the
installation was complete).

Decompress it (bunzip2 Xquartz-1.3.0-apple10.bz2)
Install it (cp Xquartz-1.3.0-apple-10 /usr/X11/bin/Xquartz)
Xquartz is now using pixman for the fb_____() functions. I pulled in changes
from the 1.4 branch that should fix some of the stability issues we've been
seeing in fb code. If you've been able to reproduce crashes in the fb code
(the function at the top of the stack starts with fb in its name), then
please test out this update and report your findings.
If all goes well, these changes (and the others listed in the changelog)
should find their way into a 2.1.4 release in the near future.
