Poking about with cut and paste - I am using xclipboard..

The manual page says - install this:

XTerm*VT100*translations: #override \
                     <Btn3Up>:select-end(CLIPBOARD)\n\
                     <Btn2Up>:insert-selection(PRIMARY,CLIPBOARD)\n\
                     <Btn2Down>:ignore()

Now - The button 3 up action works. If I extend a selection in my xterm - the value appears in xclipboard - and is copyable in the Apple World. I cannot get the Button 2 action to work - it's supposed to copy any X11 paste action into xclipboard. I've tried replacing PRIMARY with CUT_BUFFER0 - but nothing happens.

So - the translations are working - but I must be taking the insert- selection from somewhere that isn't.

Ideas?
