I have X11/xterm windows up. I have also other X applications up (nedit, xcalc).
I even launched an xterm from an xterm and this did not change the behavior.
I had no such problem with Xquartz 2.1.3, only with 2.1.4.

It only asks if you have X11 windows open. Try doing it when you have

Hi,
I have recently made a clean install of Leopard on my PowerMac G5. I
have updated to 10.5.2 and then installed Xquartz 2.1.4.
The message "Are you sure you want to quit" does not pop up when I hit
Apple-Q. I have used "defaults write org.x.X11 no_quit_alert -boolean
false", logged out, relaunched X11, and still, it does not work.
Can somebody help?
Thanks
Marc
