So... just need to figure out what droplet is doing wrong...
It seems to be using 'ps' and expecting to see a child process of
X11.app appear.
I see:
sh -c ps -x -o ppid | grep 14830 | wc -l
where 14830 seems to be the X11.app process:
14830/0x4f714f0: 7145 write_nocancel(0x2, "X11.app: main():
argc=1\n\0", 0x18) = 24 0
While I haven't got a Tiger machine handy, my assumption is that X11
was forking Xquartz in the past, and the 'droplet' was waiting for
that to avoid starting soffice before the X socket was set up.
