Here's an odd one...

I have a PowerBook G4 running Mac OX 10.5.3, and X11 v. 2.1.1 (yes, I did reinstall after the update). ;-)

Today, I was using the GIMP under X11, in space #4. I had dragged one window from Mail.app into the same space, to use as reference (the photos I was editing were e-mailed to me), and I also had some Finder windows open, again for reference.

After editing a photo, I saved/exported as jpg. The GIMP save windows and dialogs all came up fine (in fact, GIMP is working great so far). However, as soon as I hit "Save" all the other windows in space #4 disappeared; the only windows remaining belonged to X11/GIMP. I had to show all spaces and click on my e-mail reference window in space #4 to show it again. When I did that, all the other (non-X11) windows again appeared in space #4.

Command-tab did not bring up any windows for Finder or Mail, and my workspace remained in space #4.

...Sheri
