Isn't this something that the system should be doing automatically according to the attached display? Or at least a user-configurable preference (for those without Apple monitors), perhaps?


Please file a bug about this at bugreport.apple.com, and if there are specific displays where the current DPI setting is inappropriate, please mention them.


FWIW my 20" iMac is claiming 75x75 when it's closer to 90x90.
