I'm not trying to make a jab at you, so please don't take it as

just looks like if the questions you're asking are going to get any

the NDA, and as a public mailing list, this isn't the proper place

I understand.
I am at lost where else I could pose my questions.
Welcome to the world of Apple Legal, where you are only allowed to ask
questions about NDA'd developer tools
a) to email@hidden (not a mailing list, and you're
unlikely to get a reply -- although they do take into consideration
what you send there)
b) by filing bug reports
c) by filing dts incidents
The Apple engineers know this is "less than ideal", but they are bound
by hands and feet.
I really just want some generic understanding of what might be
involved to get X11 on the iPhone not any detailed information.
Given that even the contents of the iPhone SDK NDA itself are under
NDA, you're not going to get any information from anyone without that
person breaking their NDA (no matter how general it is).
