G'Day Marcus,
I'm not seeing this at all - I tried it on my MacBook Pro and no X11 window decorations would go under the menubar. I then tried again with an external monitor hooked up to the laptop and it's still good. This certainly used to be a problem in the earlier releases, but it was fixed I haven't seen it since.
I reckon this is a great X11 update :-)
