Any idea how it's trying to determine the version? That's weird... I
don't see any reason why it would work with 2.3.1 and not 2.3.2

Just some info.
Matlab 2008b works fine with X11 2.3.1
I can click the dock icon and everything works as expected.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to start Matlab 2008b using X11
2.3.2b2, by double-clicking MATLAB_R2008b.app.
I get a dialog box:
"Could not determine the version of the X11 application installed
X11 version 1.1.3 or higher is required."
and some stuff telling me to install X11 off the OS install DVD.
Anyone know a way to fix this?
(A workaround is just to type "matlab" in a terminal window, so its
not a huge issue...)
Best wishes
