(OT) Xvfb on Linux

Slightly off-topic, but this is the best place for X11 experts that I know...

Having gotten an in-house application working on our MacBook Pros in
the office, I now need to use it with Xvfb on a headless Linux server
(running xserver 1.3.0) that's in our datacenter. The server has a
public IP address, so I'd like to use Xvfb _securely_. The
application that uses Xvfb will run on the server itself, so is there
anything I need to do to secure Xvfb other than pass "-nolisten tcp"?
