I did have it set from working with MATLAB... I have unset it,
completely removed macports and started again installing just
rdesktop. The problem is the same.
Attached is an updated crash log that hopefully doesn't have anything
fishy in it.

I'm not too worried about the perl problem - I only included it since
I thought it was the same thing.
