Hi,
Just noticed the following; When running regular apps (i.e: firefox, xcalc) on the X11 Server, the keyboard mappings are ok, BUT not when the same apps run under Xvfb. Apparently the keyboard mappings for X11 (whatever they are placed, since defaults read org.x.X11 keymap_file is an empty pair) seem to not be translating as well for Xvfb usage.
I verified this is so by sending fake key events to the apps (which failed, although fake mouse events would succeed), then i used XChangeKeyboardMapping, and then sending fake key events would succeed. Certainly, i can manually override this way all the keycode to keysym maps this way, but its clearly a last resource approach.
Any idea how to set keyboard mappings for Xvfb specifically?
