Disabling xinerama

Hello all,

I have been unable to disable the xinerama extension. It is especially annoying when using a separate screen with my MacBook.
Is there any way to do it? I tried adding ProgramArguments to my preferences plist, starting X11 using startx and server argument (+xinerama).
Nothing works... any hint?

I also noted that the instructions on how to disable launchd for X11 is outdated in the wiki FAQ...
