Just out of curiosity may I ask why you do this ? KDE apps work perfectly on a gnome desktop, and vice versa, so I cannot really see why you would want to limit yourself in this way ?

I for instance prefer to run a KDE desktop, but also use various gnome apps in case where 'gnome' offers the best tool for the job ...
