Hello,
With Full-screen mode enabled, the Auto-show menu bar in full-screen mode enabled, and a remote window manager controlling the desktop, I see the following behaviors:
- At times, typically after switching out of the X-Windows window to the native Mac OS X 10.5.6 environment, upon returning to X11, my cursor will no longer be visible. If I move the mouse enough to get the Menu bar to appear and click on it, the cursor will reappear.
- If I leave the X-11 Full-Screen mode idle (i.e. without keyboard or mouse input) for a longer enough period (either while actively viewing the X-11 full screen window or the native Mac OS X window and regardless of whether spaces are in use) for the remote window manager to display the screen lock panel awaiting password input, I cannot get focus onto the password entry dialog box so that I can enter the password to unlock it. Regardless of what I type, once I hit the enter key I get a beep and no indications that what I am entering is actually going into the password field. One time I did some combination of keys that included the Command key and unlocked the screen without a password, but that was only once with the builtin keyboard on the MacBook. No clue how it worked.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I thought about installing XQuartz v2.3.3_rc2 to see if it resolves either of these issues, but I didn't see these behaviors listed in the list of fixes/enhancements.
Best Regards,
Ted Allen
