Hello,
I have similar problem, and I could not solve it yet.
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
xterm Xt error: Can't open display: :0.0
Mac OS X is 10.5.6. First I tried X11 2.1.5 (or something) which came
with Mac OS X.
Then I switched to X11 2.3.2.
Before, I used my server with "X -query sss.sss.sss.sss". I do not
know when it become
malfunction, but now I had
AllocNewConnection: client index = 1, socket fd = 11
AUDIT: Sat May 2 10:14:15 2009: 3617 X: client 1 rejected from IP
fe80::1
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
and followed by
AllocNewConnection: client index = 1, socket fd = 11
AUDIT: Sat May 2 10:14:16 2009: 3617 X: client 1 rejected from local
host (uid 502)
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
and by
xpbproxy: can't open default display
If I login to my server and set DISPLAY environment variable, I can
use X applications.
Local X applications can run properly. So X11.app itself runs without
problem.
Therefore problem looks relating to security.
Is there any way to solve this problem? Where I can start to look at
it?
Mamoru
