For tcsh, I had my cwdcmd set to display the current directory
in the titlebar, which was a handy way of telling xterms apart.
I just upgraded to 10.5.7, (followed by installing X11 2.3.3),
"About This Mac" shows 10.5.7, and "About X11" shows
XQuartz 2.3.3 (xorg-server 1.4.2-apple42), so I think the
installation went OK.
Since the upgrade, though, the title bar no longer updates - the title bar
just stays "xterm", no matter what I do. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
I'm able to change it to the local hostname I'm logged in to with a local
script. Same setup as yours.
