I'm not sure I follow you...
clicking on xclock produces menu clicks in firefox? I'm assuming
firefox is firefox/x11.
What version of X11 are you using?
Can you select the xterm window using the Window menu in the OSX
menubar?

Hi
I've recently reinstalled X11 on my iMac, and now, at least when I
launch it, something happens - I get a small xterm window which can
interact only with the mouse. I can also use forwarding, again with
the mouse. Focus will not shift to xterm, which is not showing up in
the Dock, so I cannot type anything. Even the mouse is totally
weird. Clicking on an xclock produces seemingly random menu choices
in Firefox. Clicking on Firefox did nothing at first, but now seems
to be working well (possibly because I closed xclock).
So, does anybody have any ideas as to why xterm denies me the
keyboard?
Thanks,
Bar
