Did you try to delete the nx caches? Go to ~/.nx and delete
everything except for the config directory.
This has helped me in the past with misbehaving nx client. May also
try to clear the nx sessions and history on the nx server machine as
well.

After I upgraded to Snow Leopard, nomachine's nxclient crashed on
start up. Nomachine quickly posted a new binary and all worked as
expected.
Sometime after I applied the 10.6.1 update, I ran nxclient again and
it now doesn't work. Specifically, it seems to connect fine and
something is running, because I can hear a login jingle when I
connect to my Ubuntu machine. But there's no display. And, sometimes
the mouse is snapped to the upper left corner of the screen. This
behavior is the same with/without Spaces enabled.
Unfortunately, I can't pinpoint exactly when this behavior appeared.
I'm running the stock X11 that comes with Snow Leopard (or perhaps
updated in 10.6.1).
Ring any bells for anyone on this list? Advice appreciated.
