terminal 1:
~ $ echo $DISPLAY
:0.0
~ $ xscope -i1 -o0 -v4 -D4
---
terminal 2:
~ $ DISPLAY=:1 xterm
---
At that point, tons of data gets dumped to terminal 1 about the
communication between client and server... You can adjust the
verbosity levels by changing v and D, but I don't really know much
about what each level represents since I just started using it.

Has anyone managed to get the xscope program
(which is available in the current MacPorts) to
work with the Xquartz server? I have been unable
to puzzle out a combination of command line options
which actually outputs any debug information from
xscope when running X11 programs. FYI, I am trying
to get this to work in order to debug a failure of
the molmol molecular modelling program to display
its UI widgets under MacPorts X11 release. Thanks
in advance for any advice.
