This is being discussed in xquartz-dev. I haven't changed anything around this code, so I'm a bit perplexed.
Can you please tell me when 'grep DISPLAY /var/log/system.log' says. Also, what does 'echo $DISPLAY' report in Terminal.app?
What version did you have before the upgrade, and what version did you upgrade to?
