It should be configured that way by default, but this lines seem suspicious to me

When I start it, I have:
Aug 2 20:17:20 nanake [0x0-0x239239].org.x.X11[55706]: X11.app: DISPLAY ("/tmp/launch-CHxbYc/org.macosforge.xquartz:0") does not match our id ("org.x"), unsetting.
which is to be expected because my $DISPLAY is setup for XQuartz.app instead. With your configuration, you have no $DISPLAY set. Do you unset DISPLAY in ~/.profile or ~/.bashrc?
