I'm feeling a little daft, but I don't see anything blatantly obvious that says "hey you're running at ... bit depth". I see one that says "bitmap unit" of 32, does that mean I'm at 32 bit depth? But I see another part that says 'visual' and 'depth' of '24 planes' but then under the same subheading it says '8 bits' for 'significant bits in color specification'.
Very cryptic for a newbie. I'm still learning here.
