I'm still on 10.3.9 and I haven't used X11 on a Mac for quite a while, but. . .

I had a terrible time with multiple monitors. Much of the problem was the conversion from X11's all-positive screen coordinates into Apple's plus and minus relative to the top left of the startup screen.

With a fourth monitor above the main screen X11 insisted on throwing windows above and to the left of my main monitor where there is no phosphor.  I don't know if it's been fixed but I doubt if any fix would run on 10.3.9 anyway.

Consider moving your HDTV to the right side and be sure it's fully below the iMac's screen, at least in the monitors control panel. That way coordinates will all be positive.
