[Xquartz-dev] 2.5.0 SL and SL reinstalls

Jeremy,
I understand that the Xquartz 2.5.0 release on Snow Leopard,
since it resides in /opt, will survive Software Updates
without the need for reinstallation. Is same also true if
a user reinstalls 10.6 over an installation with 10.6.2
and Xquartz 2.5.0? Hopefully Xquartz 2.5.0 will still be
intact after the Software Updates brings the machine back
to 10.6.2. Is this correct?
             Jack
