Hi,
I take it you searched the archives and noticed that this was a known
issue with Xquartz. Now it also occurs with the production X11 version
in OSX 10.6.3 someone has already filed a report with NX about it.

The above link contains a work around, until NX fixes things (which I
presume they will eventually). Probably less drastic than downgrading to
10.6.2 ...
